The Brule County Sheriff’s Department consists of the Sheriff, a Chief Deputy Sheriff and two Deputy Sheriff’s, all full time employees.

The Sheriff and Deputies cover approximately 850 square miles of Brule County  which includes towns of Chamberlain, Pukwana, Ola, Bijou Hills and Kimball.

The Sheriff’s Department also has a Boat and an ATV for assisting in search and rescue operations by land or water.
